The whole and the nothingness, the other side of the coin

The “whole” and the “nothingness”, are the other side of the coin. This important subject shows our perception and the way we see “our” world at a given moment.

I emphasize again, that the “whole” and the “nothingness” are like a coin, of which you can glimpse either the “heads” or the “tails”. However, the coin remains the same; you see it differently depending on which side you look at. If we take this metaphor as a reference, indeed, sometimes I flip the coin and go from “nothingness” to “wholeness” and sometimes from “wholeness” to “nothingness”.

As I said before, it’s just an illusion, because “wholeness” or “nothingness” only exists in the perception of each individual.

Now I wonder: What is that helps me perceive the “whole”? What works for me in order to perceive the “whole” more easily is to focus on “gratitude”.

How do I do it? I start by listing everything I have in my life that I’m grateful for (which varies for each person, based on beliefs and values, etc.), such as work, relationships, housing, place of residence, family, pets, health, etc.

It’s good to write down this list of situations, people, objects, and more for which I feel grateful.

It’s worth noting that the greatest gratitude is “being alive”, because “being alive” allows us to experience and change our reality. There’s a saying that goes: “There’s no evil that lasts 100 years, nor anyone who can endure it.”

In this sense, every reality, I repeat: every reality! can change, if we decide so. On the other hand, nature and grounding (walking barefoot on grass, sand, appreciating nature, etc.) help a lot. Other examples of connecting could be hugging a tree, petting a pet, or hugging people who love us and whom we love; all of that counts.

Lastly, the most important thing: “Believe in yourself”, believes that each individual can change their reality and perceive the “whole” if they so desire and decide to do so.

Don’t believe in our limiting ideas, no matter how convincing they may be (born from programming and/or past experiences), which sometimes seductively lead us to perceive “nothingness”.

It’s crucial to be aware and realize at the moment when we are focused on “nothingness” and simply get tired of it and want to perceive the “whole”.

I hope this helps you obtain a better understanding of your reality and become aware that any reality can be changed if you wish to do so.
